Founded by Dr. Carmelo Plateroti and Dr. Aracely Plateroti of The Plateroti Center for Holistic Medicine, a premier Holistic Medical Care Group serving the Central Coast for more than 15 years. The nonprofit organization was fueled by the recognition and unique need for children and parent education in holistic wellness. Moreover, being parents to a 6 year old who is a child health advocate himself, has become a passion amongst the family to strive to plant empowering seeds along their son’s path to a healthy and dynamic future.

When it comes to Child Care at The Plateroti Center our goal is to inform, support and empower parents to become the primary health care providers for their child/children. More and more, parents are determining the most effective wellness path for their families. Holistic medicine provides us with the tools to nurture the physical, emotional, social and spiritual health of children. The practice of Holistic Medicine extends far beyond Western Medicine’s conventional treatments, and allows us to boost children’s natural immunity and support their optimum health and wellness.
The vision for Dream Believe Kids™ is to help make a shift not only here at home on the Central Coast but to also enrich the lives of our children world wide. Dream Believe Kids ™ is a nonprofit for kids by kids.
We plan to promote social and environmental change by organizing the Dream Believe Kids Organic Garden as a vehicle for encouraging children to make good food choices, augmenting research studies with experiential learning, building a love of nature, stimulating social interaction, facilitating cultural exchange, and more.
By engaging neighborhoods, families, schools, local businesses, non-profits and community groups, to participate we envision a widespread effort to radically change the way children and parents engage in good food choices, eating habits and overall health wellness.

Project 1: The Dream Believe Kids Garden

Dream Believe Kids™– Goals
Dream Believe Kids™ is innovative in its practice, but it will also weave a network of connections, as it becomes part of our community. Dream Believe Kids™ starts with children, families, and schools, but in order for it to function reliable and sustainably, we will reach out to the community.
We plan to also purchase property necessary for:
*Dream Believe Kids ™Programs (nonprofit)= Healthy nutrition, empowerment, finances, creativity, dance, art…
*Dream Believe Kids ™Holistic Daycare= Offers parents wanting a holistic approach to daycare such as eating organic whole foods for snacks.
*Organic Bistro: Providing meals to the community that are organic, vegan, and also will offer raw super foods and drinks. The bistro will also provide the meals for the kids daycare and programs.
*Team of Integrative Health Specialist: offering Integrative Medical Modalities (Medical Doctors, Chiropractors, Acupuncturists, Naturopaths, Gynecologists, Biological Dentists, Midwives, Nutritionists, Fitness Educators…
*Plateroti Center University (nonprofit): providing integrative holistic education to parents, schools, businesses and health providers.
We plan to promote Dream Believe Kids™ through face-to-face relationship building with children, parents/guardians, and school officials; professional networking with relevant businesses, existing non-profits, and other interested parties; and by engaging in a strong social media campaign to further the community interest, and publicity.
The backbone of Dream Believe Kids™ is a team of incredibly capable, passionate, loving and energized individuals, drawn together by a love of health, family and children and commitment to a healthier tomorrow. Dream Believe Kids™ will not just be for kids but for “the kid in all of us."
